Lets Change Laura’s Life

At 60 years old, Laura has spent countless hours serving others with kindness and warmth, making her a beloved figure to many who know her. She currently works as a server at our restaurant and she’s been doing it for almost 40 years! Yes, she is an incredible server and loves her job. She is the type of person who always lends a helping hand to others in need, and now she finds herself needing our support. I have been working with Laura for about 3 years and she’s one of the most selfless, caring, and determined people I have ever met.

Laura has been diagnosed with stage two invasive ductal breast cancer, which has spread to her lymph nodes. She will need to undergo surgery in the coming weeks, which will require her to take approximately 1.5 to 2 months off work. During this time, she will face significant challenges—not only the physical and emotional toll of her diagnosis but also financial strains that could affect her home.

As a waitress, Laura relies on her income to manage her bills. Unfortunately, the loss of her paycheck during recovery will compound her financial difficulties. In addition, she is struggling to keep up with property taxes and is worried about losing her home. Her 16-year-old car is also in dire need of repairs, making it difficult for her to get to medical appointments or access essential resources.
